Illuminated buildings and a pedestrian bridge reflected in the calm waters of Darling Harbour under a blue dusk sky.

Darling Harbour

Waterside promenades, restaurants and paid attractions make up an area for walking at the end of the day; you can choose just the waterfront and dinner.

About Darling Harbour

Darling Harbour has a different rhythm from Circular Quay: the walk follows the water among restaurants, attractions and open spaces on downtown's western edge. It is a good way to end the day without another list of rooms to tick off.

The aquarium and other indoor attractions need tickets and time of their own; here the idea is to walk and have dinner. Compare menus before sitting down and check the map if you run into detours. Events change how busy it gets, so confirm the schedule before counting on fireworks.
