About Venice Beach
A skateboard scrapes the edge, a ball bounces on the court and the ocean carries on in the background, not competing for the microphone. Venice Beach gathers all this movement along Ocean Front Walk, the oceanside boardwalk, with shops, street performances and sports areas.
Watch the skatepark from the area set aside for spectators. The bike path has its own rhythm: look before crossing it and don't stop in front of cyclists to take a photo. Venice belongs to Los Angeles; the canals lie inland in the neighborhood and deserve another walk.
