About Glodok and Petak Sembilan

In Petak Sembilan, the walk passes through markets; in Gang Gloria, it follows the smell of food and coffee. Glodok gathers Chinese-Indonesian traditions in its cooking and in temples such as Dharma Bhakti. Above all, save room for lunch.

Pick a short circuit and stop where the dishes spark your curiosity. Ask about ingredients: some restaurants serve pork, and sauces will not tell you what is in them. At the temples, watch the flow of prayer and ask permission before entering or taking photos.
