About Great Sphinx

The Sphinx was not assembled like a pile of blocks: its body came out of the plateau's own rock. The figure with a human head and a lion's body expressed royal power and remains tied to Khafre's funerary complex. Look at the surrounding temples and pathways too.

Fit the stop into your Giza route, without going back to the hotel between visits. Permitted areas depend on conditions that day; a standard ticket does not promise a walk between the paws. Let your phone drop for a moment so you can see beyond the frame.
